Re: 907 Brake Pads
Thanks,
Just what I needed as I had missed that the r clips were on the inside!
What a fantastic club magazine. Better than many of the commercial publications available. Certainly a favourite place to visit again.

907 Brake Pads
I have a late 907 with dual piston brembo calipers.
My question is how do you change the pads?
There are no split pins, screw in pins like on other bikes. Is it a question of pulling them out with a vice grip?
Thanks

Re: fairing screws
I have seen Phil Denton engineering http://www.phildentonengineering.com/ reviewed with lots of praise in the classic bike magazines.
He will make some if you want, specialises in stainless steel fastners.
I was going to enquire as I could do with a few spares.

Re: 750 Paso Enzo
Out of curiousity I have asked the seller if he has any documentation or proof that the bike is a special, other than a custom paint job, seat and Ferrari Stickers.
Still a nice colour scheme though.

Re: new tires on paso
Regarding how the tyre can fail, I had an experience with a z650 in France about a decade ago. Went touring on a bike I had just purchased from a courier who was running it on cheap tyres. cruising at about 150kph with a passenger and luggage the tyre staretd to delaminate (tread bulging and unstick...

Re: 750 Paso Enzo
Well, if it is a genuine ferrari paso I guess it would be worth more than the norm, but only if in good condition which apparently it is not. The 750 I bought with a years MOT cost £550. It may be of interest to one of our continental colleagues. Typically I let the listing run, and if nobody bids, ...

Re: Paso 750 Rear Tire solution (160/60/16)
I see that Avon do the following AM23 sizes:
140/80VB16
160/80VB16
180/60VB16
These seem to be track tyres so should handle well.

Re: British Paso Owners Get Together 2011

Re: Belts ?
You got a good price there. One thing I would say, is that I have ordered stuff previously which the ducati main dealer says is available in Italy and will be there in a week, but then 2-3 weeks later you find out that the Italian stock system is inaccurate and actually the part is not available as ...

Re: 907 Ignition keys
I remember seeing a while back a parts interchange list that listed an alternative ignition switch for the paso. The list is at http://www.motomate.net/parts/ And the switch is: Paso ignition switch - Gilera 125 SP01 Looking at the forums here, it appears that all paso models have the same switch ht...

Re: 907 Ignition keys
Have you tried your local Ducati dealer?
For car keys, the local main dealer can order a set once you can prove ownership via redisteration document and give them an engine and chassis number.
May be worth a try.
