Have you tried your local Ducati dealer?

For car keys, the local main dealer can order a set once you can prove ownership via redisteration document and give them an engine and chassis number.

May be worth a try.

Mate thanks for reply-have done given in both engine and chasis numbers but were talking about Ducati here they dont exactly have the best after sales back up.Have removed ignition unit and by the looks of it a triple heart by pass op seems easier to get at !!!!
Will continue to try and sort it.
Thanks Timbo

I remember seeing a while back a parts interchange list that listed an alternative ignition switch for the paso.

The list is at http://www.motomate.net/parts/

And the switch is:

Paso ignition switch - Gilera 125 SP01

Looking at the forums here, it appears that all paso models have the same switch

The barrels aren't the same on all Pasos: as G. stated, the difference is the height of the upper barrel. 39mm on the 907ie lock and 52mm on the P750/906 lock. (The connector on all is the square one with 6 round pins in it).

Dismantle your barrel and make do some new keys by a good craftsman.

Have the locksmith look up a Fiat Uno key - mine found one that was correct.

The easiest barrel to take off the bike and the least risky for the locksmith to disassemble is probably the helmet lock but the ignition isn't that hard to get off either.

Good luck; may the original key show up the day after like mine did...
