EBAY UK PASO 906 (904!!) REAL RARE COLOUR???

The above link is to a Ducati 904 Paso i think we can safely assume the seller is not an enthusiast or a lister, he may of course be numerically dyslexic, dizlezsick, shit - can't read numbers; any way the real point of this post is that this bike is no more than 10 miles from me and i would like to know if that strange colour is a genuine RARE Ducati colour for the 906 or it's been resprayed apart from paint damage on f/o/s fairing it looks good, i may well have a pop at it - already asked him a few Q's and told him to at least get model description correct!! any info' on colour would be greatly appreciated. Yes I am fairly sure that it is original paint. He has called it a 904 because the engine is 904cc (906 means series 90 - 6 speed). Looks OK doesn't it and if you buy it you will have another local 906 owner, I am at Nottingham.

She's a very rare grey Paso 906.
Pity for some scratch and some incorrect decal applied on the fairing.
The Fallon's bible says only 100 bikes were so painted from factory.

It will be interesting to see if any bids are raised on this at that start price? Since mid 2009 almost all 750 and the 906 models have struggled to get above £1100 unless in perfect condition with lots of history. It's a nice bike though so you never know it might gather a unique interest.

Hello jwilliam, yes your not far, problem is i already have a 906 in the blue, and a 750 sport and 750 GT (roundcase) and a 996 oh and a Jap megazord 1100, and her grace will only allow me to spend so much of the weekly shopping allowance on toys!!

Yes, it is a problem Francesco!! i am very lucky to be able to keep the bikes i have got so to even think about buying another, even a rare grey 906 is just asking for trouble from she that says, "why do you need five bikes when you can only ride one" if anyone can think of an answer to that one i would be eternally grateful

Not a great problem.
Nowaday the vintage bikes and cars are valuable goods for investments.
Its value increase more than the cost of the life .
Think about the value of the 750 roundcase

Spoke with the owner last Friday and arranged to see the bike at his garage (Land Rover dealer) on Saturday afternoon, Saturday lunch time rang him to get post code for satnav as it was a small village only to find out he sold it earlier in the day!!!
I hope it went to an enthusiast because the seller certainly wasn't, he had it only a week, he apparently bought a landrover off a guy and the 906 was in his garage and did a deal on the bike also.
I had taken some cash out the bank on Friday to wave under his nose and was quite prepared for the physical assault from my wife when i got it home but it was not to be, at least i was saved a trip to hospital, i will just have to be satisfied with my lovely blue 906 which quite honestly i prefer over that grey colour rare or not. Bikes are like golf clubs in that they are all essentially the same but any dick can tell you that you need a set of slightly different ones to play . This is also a good answer for the person who wont understand that you need more than one firearm , especially if he is a golfer ( and he was .... the wanker )
YOU CAN NEVER HAVE TO MANY BIKES , AND DONT LET ANY WOMAN TELL YOU DIFFERENT

CB just buy the RSV , she aint gunna leave over a bike , you may be in the dog box for a week or two but she'll get over it and you'll still have the bike
