Clean/Paint discs?

Post by Fireypete »

Been trying to get the centre of the discs clean. Brake cleaner and a brush. Anyone know of an easy way? Taking ages to do 1 side of 1 disc, and the brake cleaner makes me feel a bit crook.
Also, has any one painted the centre of the disc? The gold anodised finish is not very good anymore and I'm considering spray painting it Brembo gold. May look a bit garish. Thoughts. Finally finished cleaning the wheels. Shiny again😎

Cleaned enough I reckon. The anodised coating ends up coming off if I try too hard. Cleaned the muck out from under the sprocket. I'll get the wheels on soon..then the calipers, then the pads and a flush of new fluid. Chipping away.
