Rennsport, be patient and the toolkit will pop up.
Good luck

Re: Ducati 907 ie Tool kit
forget about the toolkit.
your 907 will drive perfectly without a toolkit.
even with a toolkit in place no one will notice.
it's all between our ears

Bertus, he`s not riding the bike. It has 4.700mls on it. It`s just a deco object he wants to have completely original.

G,
Well, in that case watch Ebay carefully. I can see the point of getting it completely original.
is the 907 tool kit different than other toolkits from that era? just wondering

Re: Ducati 907 ie Tool kit
Yeah . . . they are slightly different, but only slightly.
I spent a great deal of time (effort and money) finding my toolkit but got there in the end. There is in fact a great deal of useful info' on my toolkit search thread (mostly provided by Gerhard . . .).
I even bought an 851 toolkit by mistake thinking it was for a 907. It wasn't. So I bought an 851 to go with it. Can't stand the 851 - just not my thing at all.
So if you know anyone looking for an 851 toolkit they can buy mine. It's £3,750 and comes complete with an 851 . . .

Hi Rhino,
didn't know there were so much small differences.
looking at the quality makes tears popping in my eyes.
your 851 is equiped with M1R fork? or already with a Showa USD?

Re: Ducati 907 ie Tool kit

Yes Claude, in answer to your question - it does have forks.
I'm told they're the tubes on either side of the wheel.
And in case anyone is wondering . . . it is in fact Whore Red not the rather Limp Pink shown in the photo.
I'm in Wales at the end of this week and I'll try to take a few more picture IF, and only if, anyone is interested.

Re: Ducati 907 ie Tool kit
I'll be honest - I don't understand one set from another. I do know that the USD are an improvement though I don't know why and I'm not a good enough rider to see the difference anyway (not that I've ever ridden it you understand). I'm keen to sell so any offer within reason would take it off my hands, and you know me, full history, handbooks, manuals, toolkits etc etc. And she really DOES look better than my girlfriend's photo shows. Better pics next week if anyone's interested
