Re: PEACOCK!!
Or, just get rid of it. I did.
Replaced it with a banjo fitting and bolt off of a later model Ducati. Threads in the tank are straight 10mm threads, same as your brakes. Not much need for a petcock on a bike with a fuel pump.
But I was looking forward to seeing a peacock under your tank.
Cheers, Phil

Re: PEACOCK!!
I have seen roosters and turkeys on paso's but not a peacock , I once had to remove a seagull from inside my paso fairing , which , to be fair is not the reversal of fitting one or even replacing an existing one , that was a decision made entirely by the seagull ( zigged when it should have zagged ) unless it was an unhappy seagull ( possibly Johnathan livingston but I think he came right in the end ) that was tired of life...... but still not a peacock. Perhaps you could take the oppertunity to increase fuel flow and fit an ostridge , clearance may be an issue and Im sure the SPCA wouldnt be happy , especially if you tried to vacuum operate it, and it would have to be mature or how else would you turn it on ( vacuum opperation ) and dont touch its nuts with pliers least it create a spark

I wish I was young again............Id be heaps smarter than last time

This is where you'll find a replacement item or should give you an idea what to source I think they will work on a 750?

Re: PEACOCK!!
Sadly you are probly right . New Zealand was an ornothologists wet dream and untill the white man got here there wasnt a carnivore that had teath , the only thing here to eat a bird was a bigger bird . As soon as we introduced the feline , canine and ermine it all went pretty quickly ( maori's were pretty hungry too ).englishstiv wrote:This is where you'll find a replacement item or should give you an idea what to source I think they will work on a 750?
