Regulator old series

Hi all,
is there anybody that could tell me if this Voltage regulator can be used for PASO 750 (1988) ?

Here is the type/model :

9309 12V DC Ducati Energia 343629


I would like to buy it just for BACKUP.


Actually this is the type installed and used and it is OK :

9402 12V DC Ducati Energia 343524.

Both these regulators are old type.
