I've changed the oil and filter and get no where near as much oil in the system as the manual calls for. Is the max line checked warm? Cold? Running? When running it looks lower than max so i could add more, but when sitting its at the line.
Ideas? Suggestions? I'll be happy when I've learned all the oddities of this bike!
I need a little DIY maintenance help.

Hello seanery,
the oil level is measured with the bike not running, on centerstand, or in balance on wheels (thats only a very very little difference) If you fill over the max. it could be pressed out at the breather back of the horizotal-cylinder. So fill about to the middle of the window, thats enough.
Greetings,
Rainer
