The 757 appears to have a slight bit different tread pattern with a bit more open area.... it is the mfg's replacement for the 747. A few places still had shown the 747 in stock, my guess though is that is remaining stock which will be replaced by the 757 once gone.hardo wrote:@Mike:
you are using the podium and the 747 on your bike, is that right?
do you know if there are any differences to the 757 you are refering to?
as far as I understood you did not to any modifcations to the chainline to fit the shinko 747 180/60.
how did you get that to work? just grinting some rubber of the tire away?
thanks for your input and gretting from switzerland, hardo
That was not because of the tire but because of a missing bearing spacer of the sprocket carrier if I remember well (discussed that with pasoalf via pm long time ago)you mentioned wheel bearing problems
That makes life a lot easier. We don't have any road inspection for bikes in Holland, so we can pretty much do what we like herepaso750 wrote:specially on the 180/60 the edges are quite thick. Removing a little of that edge is no concern unless you go at it with an angle grinder It won´t impact the life of the tire

If that is the case, that would also work on the 750 Paso.redchubeka wrote:many thanks joeltje but I have read that the shinko are thinner than the others listed?
and on the 906 can works whithout "modifications"
maybe I have found out where to buy them in germany.... I am waiting for a definitive answer
