Blue Paso Parts
Hey guys! I recently bought a 1988 Paso 750 in near mint condition. After today... I can say it is in ok shape. I had it parked in my girlfriends driveway and she managed to hit it and break some parts. Long story short; I wasn't a happy Ducatista.
Here is my question:
Does anyone know of someone parting a Blue Paso or IS anyone partinga blue paso?
I am looking for the Right Mirror, Right Side Fairing Panel, and Right Side Fairing. I found all but the mirror on Ebay and would like a better condition than what is being sold. I would like to keep the bike looking as new as possible... and these gouges in the fiber glass just won't cut it.
Thanks in advance!
-Dustin

Re: Blue Paso Parts
body panels are easy enough to fix.Mirrors can be found here@118 plus 12-18 shipping, they are not the OEM snap ons rather a bolt on knock-off requiring paint...........http://moto-science.com/

Re: Blue Paso Parts
Pity for the accident.
You'll find easily some used panels, but not in the rare blue colour...
So, you'll have to paint them and apply the decals.
Good luck

Re: Blue Paso Parts
Thanks guys! Luckily the man I bought the bike from has the replacement panels I need. I found a red mirror off the same bike. How difficult would it be to repaint over the red? Or even finding the color (I assume the color would be fairly easy to find)?

Re: Blue Paso Parts
My advice ,Dustin would be to ask around a bit and find a good auto painter and pay him to do the job.A colour match and re spray are easy jobs for a good painter. If 50 years on this earth has taught me one thing its that I cant paint for shit , and nothing looks worse than a bad paint job ( and believe me Ive tried a lot of times)

Re: Blue Paso Parts
Good thing you found the fairings you needed.
I stumbled upon a website a few days ago when I was searching the internet for replacemant fairings.
http://www.airtech-streamlining.com/duc ... 986-87.htm
So if your girlfriend runs over your Paso a second time, look there...

Re: Blue Paso Parts
Thanks for all the info guys!! I am going to see if a friend of mine can fix the housing on the mirror. Luckily my girlfriend's uncle does body work so I am getting the red panels painted blue
