As I told you, my wife is a little bit different.DesmoDog wrote:Careful with that stuff, wives often know more than they let on! I thought my wife had zero interest in the bikes I've got stashed away. Then one day I heard her tell someone about the Ducati Monza I was working on. How the heck she knew it was a Monza I'll never know... and no, it doesn't say "Monza" anywhere on it.
Point being, just because they don't talk about what's going on doesn't mean they don't KNOW what's going on. Ever heard the saying about giving someone just enough rope to hang himself???![]()
But the best one I heard was a guy who had off site storage for his race cars and would bring a different one hoome every so often. He kept telling his wife "No honey, that's the same one, we just painted it again". She found out. They always find out.
She don't distinguish a Ducati Cucciolo from a Desmosedici RR....
I have had tell her thousend times I bought a "Ducati Paso".
The only opinion I heard from her was "It's very loud, but it's slower..." comparing with my "ex" Honda Hornet 600.
A little truth...
She is a classic woman who to the petrol station does ask help to fill the tank...
And above all, she don't see in my wallet
