Re: Letting my complete 1993 907ie go

OK, so the tricks are minor, like a peal bi-xenon light so you can see everything, the black out decals (liked the look) that glow under direct headlights and the always on lights that still blink. Price wise. Take a low mile 1993 907ie and add this: Conti Chrome Pipes (originals included) European ...

Letting my complete 1993 907ie go

I have done everything you can do to this thing short of modding the motor, but with little left to do I need a new project. If anyone is interested, it is in Los Angeles, fewer than 13k with fresh paint and a few tricks I haven't seen done before. $5200.00 Here is the listing: http://losangeles.cra...

How about engine pieces? Looking for an alternator cover for the 907.

Thanks

Setting off a few alarms now

Okay, with the new Conti's and mild throttle, I've been setting off car alarms (occasionally) as I drive by. Is it too loud or just about right? :D There is a lot of rumble when rolling off the throttle. It still runs a little choppy under load, but the torque is great and throttle response is impro...

Just got it

Just opened the box and it looks OEM Brembo, complete with the lever. Looks better than the original--now I may have to do the brake lever so that it looks right.

Or not. Looks great, though.

And the price was right. Less than $85 plus shipping.

Trouble in Paradise

Discovered this morning, after deciding to take the Duck to work for the first time in 8 weeks, that thclutch master had failed and leaked on my newly painted tank. Words cannot describe the drama that unfolded this morning. Yoyodyne is shipping a new master overnight to arrive tomorrow--they were v...

I think the older style can be seen on the 907for sale on ebay. More chrome, very nice.

You take what you can find, though, as in my case.

Keep in mind that the xenon unit only uses 35 watts, whether in high beam mode or not; a dual xenon system would max out at 70 watts.

I think that one bulb may be plenty for a bike and perhaps be a little more visable.

They ae 2 & 2, slipons of a sort. The decal material is available at most vinyl shops and in a number od colors. I seriously considered stock, but was leaning more towards the stealth idea. If they have to ask what kind of bike it is . . . . Thanks for the comments, I am going to install new Den...

Bi-Xenon

I have been thinking of going bi-xenon to increase light (I am at 100 watts high now) but none of the kits are single light only. If someone is willing to split the cost, I will by a conversion kit that will include two bulbs and ballasts and I'll sell the other half. They run about $300 complete on...

I've been trying to get them posted here (pictures), but admin is a little behind. I am a little biased, but I think they look pretty sweet. THey are certainly loud--set off a few alarms already. Fresh black paint with too much clear coat, black reflective decals that glow in direct headlights, Corb...

Thanks, back to the drawing board. I had sipped and coated the inside of the tank before repainting it,though I don't seem to have a loss of power issue. I am due for belts and a valve adjust and will check the mounts at the same time. Feels like I'm sitting on a Harley or something. The new Conti's...

Rough Running 907ie

I just about finished eveything on my 907, but haven't riden much in a while getting it done. I have all the standard upgrades, K&N, Conti Slipons, proper sprocket, etc., but have noticed a vibration from the motor pulling at around 6k rpm. I can't tell if this is normal vibration or a sign of s...
