Re: Just Dropping In (again)....

That looks like a fine collection of motorcycles a shame not to use them. Why not sell a few and use the money to get a mechanic to fix a few up? Sometimes it’s best to reduce the mountain before starting to climb it!

907ie our for the first time this year!

Finally after months of rubbish weather I got out on the bike today! I was suffering bike withdrawal symptoms. Has it been the same in Europe as the Uk? Re: Greetings from Newbee owner

I had a 907ie back in the day and after a 10 year break I too bought another one. There is something about these bikes that hooks you in, I still enjoy it the same as the first time that I rode one.
Welcome to the club!

Re: Bloody electrics yet again. Looking for Directions.

Hi Stiv, I think I would remove all the body work and thoroughly inspect all the loom for chafing, bad earth connections and check all connectors are corrosion free. Another thing to check is the ignition switch, 2 off my Benellis have had to have new switches fitted in recent years because the were...

Hi Rhino it must be fate that you keep the Ducatis! They would make great adornments in the lounge or Man cave ! I could look at my bike all day long?

Re: Running on one (sometimes)

Hi, you could try swapping the ignition coils over? If the fault moves to the other cyclinder then that would indicate a faulty coil? But if it remains on the same cyclinder this rules out the coil?
Good luck

Re: Running on one (sometimes)

Hi have you checked the valve clearances? If the are wrong when it's hot they may not close properly and cause a back fire?
