Re: Fuel tank fitment

Nice job!
Is the freshly painted tank the "NOS" 750 tanks? Asking because that is a 907IE tank, which is why the connections are different and there's a bracket for the electric fuel pump inside.
The seat lock is upside down. ;)

Re: Exhaust Headers

>>.do you think/know if they would fit the 750 Sport.? Hi, no, they don't- It's not about the diameter but the overall shape. Below some pictures. The first two show a SS header, which is similar to the one of the Sport. Towards the silencers it spreads outwards. The connection to the rear cylinder ...

Re: Control unit does not work

Hi there, you could of course see if Rudy has one. Another option would be https://www.carmo.nl/index.php?main_page=page&id=2&chapter=0&language=de to check and repair yours. They also sell their updated version https://www.carmo.nl/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=4318_1224&am...

Re: Headlights

Have you tried to look for a Yamaha FZ750 headlight? You may find one of those in NZ.

Re: Fuel tank connections help

If you have the owner's manual check the picture on page 29 or the workshop manual p.9.
You'll find those on top of the 907IE forum in the FAQs.

Re: Air box clips

This is the gap with an original paper filter. If I remember well with a K&N it was a little bigger.

Re: Air box clips

Sometimes you can still find some from a Supersport. They work with a little mod.

Re: Kiwi's 750 Sport race conversion

I wonder if the shudder is from warped discs, a slightly lose headstock bearing or worn fork bushes. As these are hard to find, forks are often rebuilt using the old ones. I'd consider replacing the stock flywheel with a lighter one. Not only will throttle response be quicker but getting off the lin...

Re: Returning after 15 years

Hi Ethan,
after the site was hacked years ago, the gallery was not rebuilt. There's still a gallery page but it's just a collection of pictures. Maybe you're lucky: https://gallery.ducatipaso.org/

Re: 907ie chain slider

Are you looking for the big one on the swingarm or the small ones on the frame and center stand? If it's the first you can try to ask Rudy. Maybe also check this post: http://forums.ducatipaso.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=6478&p=51943#p51943 They may be other chain sliders from other bikes which ...

Re: Clutch Slave Rebuild

Do not sand the cylinder wall. As the seal moves over it you want the surface as smooth as possible. I'd clean it with brake cleaner or Acentone, then if necessary use fine steel wool and at last metal polish. If you use wet sand paper I'd take 600 grid or finer as the sanding marks can be polished ...

Re: Ducati Paso 750 complete restoration

I also tought that i removed them from steering stops. But there is no adjustable steering stops on paso. On mine there are. I always thought those were original but maybe one of the past owners drilled the holes and fitted adjustment bolts. Could it be the bolts to mount the brake line splitter in...
