Sauna! Yeah! I love 'em! The hotter the better ... used to have a full-size walk-in all-wood electric two-person sauna in my previous house.

Skins, Come to my house to see and taste 5 person ALL wooden sauna with clean natral gas "kiuas" (heater)! We can heat it as hot as You want and be there as long, as You want and we can drink cold Koskenkorva, or Finlandia Vodka direct from bottle as much as You want OR CAN! Normally i stay in Sauna about 3 hours with 4 x 15 min saturday evenings. :D Its well designed with good ventilation, so easy to be there and throw water to "kiuas" to get more "löyly" . So, now You have learned many useful Fin words, only need to teach You some "hard words", what need in hot sauna..... :funny: :funny: :funny:

Sounds great, Antti. Saunas are so good, especially after you're been working hard. I'm very surprised more houses here don't have them. If I could afford it, I would put one in the small house I have now. Do many houses in Finland have saunas?

Skins, I think, 98% of Fin houses have somekind of Sauna, so can we say, that we are hard workers here? Also allkind of Saunas can be found here...also some not so good, but mostly good ones. Its very relaxing place to be and saturday is traditional sauna eve here, but many use it also other days/eves.

Wow! 98 per cent! That is much more than I imagined. Sure it isn't so popular in the other Scandinavian countries, and also Russia, as well?

But it is a wonderful thing, isn't it? I've often thought if people here could be educated about how good it is, designing and fitting them into houses would be a good business.

Skins, About Sauna: Russians dont have enough good tecnology to make good one, Swedish tried, but they didnt have enough good "Kiuas" (that heater in Sauna), so they give up, so there is still real good Finnish Sauna :funny:

You can come to test mine!
