907ie For Sale

Guys,
My 907 (my 851 and my 916S Monoposto Europa) are up for auction:
http://richardedmondsauctions.com/catal ... w/?event=3
The 907 is 2,000 miles from new, 2 owners, 12 months MOT, Termi end cans, a full toolkit, all handbooks and the Ducati workshop manual (which is a modern reprint). Damn . . . even the dash clock works!
The original workshop manual (for 906 and 907) is also for sale but as separate lots. There are a couple of complete toolkits and some quite rare bits and pieces, manuals, Ducati original bike covers and helmet bags etc.
Basically all my bike "stuff" is going - some really nice (bloody expensive) unused Ducati key rings actually - now I think about it.
Basically because my knees and hips will not longer let me get back on any of my bikes I'm selling. If anyone can suggest a VERY low Ducati - or failing that any other big engine bike - that's
very low I'd be eternally grateful.
In tears,

It's a shame you are having to give up your bikes. How about a Diavel?

It might amuse . . .
None of the bikes sold.
The reserve for the 907 was £2,000 and it didn't attract one bid.

Hi Rhino it must be fate that you keep the Ducatis! They would make great adornments in the lounge or Man cave ! I could look at my bike all day long?

Your 907 is one of the cleanest and lowest mileage one's in UK surely.
Perhaps the estimate of £3-4k put people off?
Bikes sell much better and quicker in the spring. I'm sure you'll have no problem getting a decent price in the new year.
The toolkit made me smile - old posts refer!

I would love to give the your 907IE a good new home, and ride it occasionally!
I already have one with 5,200 miles on the clock but it recently replaced my previous 907IE which covered a very enjoyable 34,000 miles before things started going wrong... Your one would go in the collection while I pile on the miles on the current one. Then I would have a replacement, if I can still ride it by then....
