Wow! She looks amazingly clean. I'm going to roll by there tomorrow and get the full story.

Well, she's a little worse for wear than I first thought: Been dropped more than once, fairing lowers have cracks and a few 'chunks' missing; Both mirror/turn signals have been repainted; stock pipes have been painted flat black, as well as the triple-clamp and the rear passenger hand-hold. The dash is clean with solid mounts. Michelin M & A59s (circa 1997). Both ignition and seat lock keys are there.

Barring some major engine problem, I'd say it'd be a good project bike.

Damn I was thinking of going by there to check it out. I need to get another Duc!!Was it that bad? It does look good in pics. Oh well, I'll grab one out of state. This was the Ducati that started my passion....

By now, I'm understanding that a bike (or a car, of course) when looks too clean hides something bad...
In Italy, they say "un lucidissimo bidone": "a shiny rip off"...
