Hello from Sweden!
Im new to this forum so I just want to make my first post!
Couple of weeks ago I bought a 1988 Ducati Paso 750.The previous owner had it stored in a
shed,he told me that he used to start it once a year...and had done so for last ten years..
So I saved it from a sad destiny
The exhaust mufflers was in bad shape, are there slip ons that fit my bike(new)
or is Ebay my only option??

Welcome in the madhouse!
There are very nice mufflers for the Paso available. For example the Conti-cans. i like them most. I think there is a cheap brand new pair on ebay Australia available from time to time...
Cheers, Johannes

Hi there,
imho the sometimes available Contis sound good but look much better on a bevelhead.
The Contis that look good on a Paso are really rare.
If you want original ones check marktplaats in the Netherlands. There`re always some for sale.
If the bike just stood for 10 years or was started once a year doesn`t really change much. There will be an amount of work and maintainance required to bring it back on the road.

Hamish,
The Swedish alphabet has 3 additional letters after the "Z", one of these is the O with dots Ö, oddly called the "Swedish O".
Cheers,
Fraser.

Hi Jorgen,
Welcome to the forum! You'll find some excellent folk here who are very helpful and extremely knowledgable on these bikes. The information they supplied has been instrumental in keeping my Paso going. Oh yeah, and there is the mentioned madness...
The supplier you want to keep an eye out for on Ebay is Ian Gowanloch here in Australia, trading as Italspares. He has a stack of new spares available for all manner of classic Ducatis, including the Paso. He regularly puts items up on Ebay, but you can also contact him directly if you want to buy stuff off him. His email is
italspares@gmail.com.
Cheers,
Mike
P.S. G will probably tell you soon to change your belts and tyres. He's right, change your belts and tyres.

I got nothing to say
My grandfather knows german , he spent a bit of time over germany ............. back in the early 40's

.
Actually he was a german but he modified his name to sound english ( from Heindrich to Hendrie ) moved to Scotland , married my grandmother ( she wasnt then tho ) ( fark !! I bet he regretted that! she was a piece of work I tell ya ) and wound up fighting for the pom,s, and he must have got around a bit during ww2 coz he was in the army and the RAF , cant have been that clever , got shot twice , mustard gassed once and married gandma
