Depends on the extent to which it is a Limited.
Do you have both the Weber and the Del's
Do you have the standard and race only exhaust ?
or is a limited in decals only ..........

Overall shape matters as well as any documentation you may have
Also where you intend to sell it makes a huge difference

So to give you a fair idea would need a lot more details than what's a LTD worth

Do you have both the Weber and the Del's
since when ?

G.

PS: if it originally came with the race cans in a crate it`ll probably have the modified heads & lighter flywheel and hence be 1 of 100 made. Most Ltds though as higgy mentioned are nothing than a color variant with an additional sticker on it. Imho these shouldn`t be worth a penny more than a red P750.

I have run across some info of late hinting that none of the white limiteds have the additional head mods

the heads came only on the red limiteds :banghead:

Not a lot of info out there :banghead:

Here is what I do know......
The Limited was a program developed at the insistence of Ducati NA for Marco Lucchinelli (aka Crazy Horse) to compete against a bike in the BOTT race known as Lucifer's Hammer, a Harley ridden by the 4 year reigning champion Gene Church.

Concurrently the factory was developing the 851 and racing the F1 in all sorts of racing programs under the Cagiva flag for the more competitive formula racing.

At least 50 of the Paso limited where built. Also worth noting Lucchinelli loved the Tricolore. Seems to be the root of all the tricolore myths out there about the Paso series. When the factory abandoned the Paso and the limited in favor of the F1 and the 851. Ducati NA got the Limiteds dumped on them. Luccinelli never officially raced the limited. He preferred the F1 and to this day a triclore F1 gets top dollar. There are no true tricolore Paso's or 907ie's ,not even 1 All are dealer repaints or done privately.
In 1985 and 1986 on a F1 Lucchinelli came close to beating Church, close but no #1 podium stand till 1987 on an 851. Shortly after he was arrested and faded from the spotlight. He did return to Ducati in the early 90's for a while and now works with Dainese and his rock band. He does an excellent rendition of Foggy Day by Carl Fogerty

In the end the Paso limited seems mostly to be a failed attempt by Ducati NA to boost sales having been abandoned by the factory in favor of the 851 and all the rest of the 4 valve Ducati's. Cagiva was pulling the strings that mattered back then.

every thing else appears to be speculation or wishful thinking :banghead:

There is still a clip on utube of the 85 BOTT so you can see just how close a race it was especially considering Lucchinelli had to start at the back of the pack due to his last minute decision to join the competition.

at least 50, where does that number come from ?
According to the restoration guide there were 100 "power" Limiteds and a couple of hundred white and blue. How many of these had a Limited sticker on them is I guess unknown.
(Imho a sticker only doesn´t make a Paso a Limited)

from what I can find out G 100 had been planned so that they could race in the BOTT, but in the end only 50 came from the factory officially before the factory dropped the program in favor of the 851 and the F1. There are rumors of more parts having been farmed off and some more assembled from those parts in the US by the distributor.
As far as the documented truth goes, your guess is as good as mine  or anyone else's for that matter

true. I was assuming Ian Fallons listed production volumes were actual production and not plan.
I wonder where proper info could be found. (I`m really missing the headscratching smiley)

Francesco, higgy and I have decided :) that you could contact Marco Luchinelli and ask him what the real story about the Limiteds, the power Limiteds and the actual production volumes is.

If you have the time it would be great if you could drop him a line.
