does anyone know the size and or part number for the fork seals on a 750 sport - the forks are the standard ones - according to the manual- MIBB.

Well, the fork tube is 40mm, but I don't know the outside dimension or the height. If you take out the seals, the size is usually on the seal. Should be an easy seal size to find, unlike the M1R which has a 41.7mm fork tube.

Cheers,

If you have a choice of makers of seals, Fruendenberg NOK makes some of the best ones. My local suspension shop uses them when ever they can.

For what it's worth, when I replaced the seals in my M1R's last year, they were readily available from Parts Unlimited for a fraction of the cost from Ducati. When they arrived, they were from the same manufacturer as the original seals I removed!

A dealer should have both the seals and the wipers. For seals all they need to know is the size, which is on the top of the seal

These are completely wrong, too loose a fit and have fork oil squirting out of both legs now. I have tracked down some genuine ones at www.windwave.co.uk part no :- 528053 size 40x52.2x10/10.5
