Just Saying Hi

I am new to the PASO line of Ducati, I will be picking up a Blue 750 shortly once the owner has the ownership paper work sorted out. So I will have a few questions as I begin to rebuild the bike to its former condition. I have owned a few 2 valve monsters in the past, but nothing quites as early as the Paso.

Cheers

Hi, and welcome to the community of PASO’s. And also congratulation on your Paso. This site is one of the most positive and help full site´s you willl find on the i-net. So shoot away all your questions, and I promise you will get a fairly quick reply, which will answer your Q.
;)
Kind regards,

Welcome to NY, now get the F out!!!

Just kidding!! This is a great and really only group devoted to the Paso.

The Paso is really the early version of every 2 valve rubber band motor so almost everything is the same. The clutch slave and the carb are the only real departures from the modern norm. The 750 has some specific areas of comcern and you will find all the info you need in the FAQ section on this forum.

Thanks for the support, The only thing Im afraid of is the availability of tires, but with the sport maxi scooter with 15-16 in wheels Im hoping there will be some sticky rubber available for the PASO.

That's the odd issue on the Paso 750 & 906.
Michelin is not building them anymore, so there are two ways to replace the tires: swapping to 17" rims or fitting some different tires: 130/70 front and 150/80 rear.
If you use the "search" function of the forum, you'll find very many topics about.
Good luck
