Your PASO looks fast, too.

165 mph!? incredible speed!
Is it 750, 906 or other special engine?
My Murayama-Paso(not racer) do about 125mph/8500rpm.
And Weber DCNF is screaming when it do max speed.

It is a 906 machine and I have done almost everything I know to make it fast. It will do 120 mph in 4th gear. Went for a ride with other Ducati riders a week ago and a guy with a 996R had trouble keeping up, very funny. The engine has standard crank, rods and cams.

never mind, but hard to believe that a bike that normally hardly goes over 210km/h would run 265km/h without huge modifications (considering it`s not in free fall :)
What was done ?

There is a lot to be had by getting the dcnf setup properly in combination with airbox mods and better exhaust I have been fiddling with mine and I am simply amazed at the difference in power, more on this later............still have a few more things to try
Ducati, making mechanics out of riders since 1946
There's no problem so bad that a little fixing can't make it worse! : )
If it ain't broke keep fixin it till it is

Turbo?, NOS?, what the hell did you on the engine to run so fast with stock crank, rods and cams???

Very curious.

I am of the opinion that factors like valve size, cam lift and rod weight etc are not that important but accurate carburation is, the standard jet settings are typically too lean. The Weber also responds well to positive air pressure feed to the airbox. It has an ITG competition air filter and a 2 into 1 Conti exhaust. Other tricks include heat shielding to the front manifold, running the engine at a lower temperature (which I can do because it is water cooled), 5 teeth off the rear sprocket and doing something to the oil filter.* Equally important is reinforcment of the standard frame around the headstock and steel brake discs on the front(power is nothing without control).

Many thanks!
I also have 2 in 1 Conti and an high performance filter on my 907.
I don't have a less 5 teeth rear sprocket, but.....
