Nothing to do with coolness, everything to do with enjoying the ride.
What you don't seem to get is that I don't need the gov telling me when to wear a head condom

Don't get any funny ideas for painting different body parts on that helmet
People can decide when they want the protection and when they don't.
I understand you always had to wear one, but it's about as normal as 19% sales tax and 50% income tax,
and Illinois property tax, just so you don't think the US is perfect.
This is all the rage now, so get with it.

Yep, damn scary.
Might get Alfa also.
You're already seeing the welcoming committee paraded for the hunchback who thinks all of europe should live as she does.
Damn shame considering the past, and I'll leave it at that.

That's the front fairing deflecting the air past the bucket.
I bet that helmet is for customers.
Saw an article on these guys some time ago,
they were upset about the new helmet law.
Started wearing various things, like watermelons and buckets.

holy mackerel!! this is still going...
seriously plasmid...are you saying riding without a helmet somehow increases riding pleasure?...bugs, cold head, wind in your ears and up your nose...
you are still in the elements with a helmet and decent riding gear...I just don't see it...but whatever rocks your boat

Goes to show ya, whatever you grow up stays with you.
You guys grew up with a helmet law, some of us didn't.
If I'm not going over 100km/h for hours at a time and it's warm
some glasses + that Duc motor are good enough.
The many people with an open visor and no glasses are getting hit by more bugs than me.
Helmet is good for not so warm days and long drives.
It would be good not have to break the law in Europe, but whatever.
A bike is about freedom and immediacy.
If I had to throw a suit on I'd say it screw it and walk, ride a bike, or drive a Spider.
Plus, cruising at 80-100 through the countryside with my wife wouldn't
be as enjoyable if I felt a helmet on my back.
Come to think of it, wearing a helmet in those situations would be like riding with Merkel:
'Immer Helm tragen und das Leben nicht genießen !!!! RaRaRaRa '

Mackerel ? we have Mackerel here in NZ , big and small, there are 29 sub species of mackerel world wide , the faster clever ones wear helmets , Wahoo ( Acanthocybium Solandri ) can hit 70 km/h ,which is faster , and probly better handling than a Harley

, but I dunno that they are all that holy
