I think the older style can be seen on the 907for sale on ebay. More chrome, very nice.

Does any one know anything about this style, such as how makes, or made them,etc..?

Ducati used thesekind mufflers in early 851 modells, but ONLY KITTED modells, not road bikes. I have seen also thiskind in some F1 modells, but all those have been black coloured. They are totally open and cant use such in street use! Its same sound, than without any mufflers )

Okay, with the new Conti's and mild throttle, I've been setting off car alarms (occasionally) as I drive by. Is it too loud or just about right?



There is a lot of rumble when rolling off the throttle.

It still runs a little choppy under load, but the torque is great and throttle response is improving at the upper end the more miles I put on it. I am sure that I am due for a valve check; is a little rough running symptomatic of requiring a valve adjust ?
