Like for like( or improved silicone) on the hoses we are all in. Those who have other issues will be in for the bottle and cap

Don't forget the 906 needs all as well
as far as the thermostats all that is needed is a new clamp for the original housing thermostats are easy to get

Hi Duc750, I received an email today that you dropped off your hoses to SFS. They told me they need an order of 20 kits to make these. I don't know if there is a way I can be added to the group for these, since I am in the U.S. Just let me know if this is possible. Thank you for all of your help. Have a good weekend.
Regards, Paul

Hi Guys

Paulmozzi has done the update for me !

I dropped the main hoses off yesterday to SFS and they are indeed up for doing this.

They will need to make some tools to do it though. They would put together a full kit of silicon hoses for the bike including clips so I just need to drop them the two hoses from waterpump to cylinders and the coolant overflow hoses.
They have highlighted one problem area on the left hand hose which is the two vertical outlets down as they are so close together on the hose but have said that as long as the outlets remain in the same position shifting the point where they join the main hose should be no issue.

Because there aren't that many 907s around and the hoses are going to be pretty unique they are looking to get a minimum of 20 kits confirmed and payed for up front to start production. After that the kits will be production items and all hoses will also be available seperately for future.

Cost is likely to be £160 + shipping
To be fair thats probably comparable to a complet set of hoses from Ducati at Genuine parts prices
We can have pretty much any colour we want but I would suggest first run should either be black or red.

So I guess the question is who is up for it and prepared to put they're money where their mouth is ?

Also could someone who has both a 907 and a 906 verify whether the hoses are common or even if the 907 hoses would be a good alternate fit for the 907.
That will widen the market a bit and make it easier to get the 20 minimum.

I'm also going to contact the Ducati owners club in the UK and one of the classic bike mags over here.

To see if we can boost numbers through them.

I would like to see if we can get this together in the next month as they have my hoses and I'd quite like to put my bike back together before the end of the year !

Post up guys if you're in

I'm in, just tell who and how to send the money BTW I have both a 907 and a 906 and will sort it out over the weekend

One more thing on the thermostat all we need is the right clamp to hold the thermostat together as There are plenty of thermostats that will fit the housing available everywhere   :banghead:

I am interested but would like give it a week or so before I commit as have already looked into this elsewhere prior to this thread starting

These make hoses in the UK and are able to manufacture one items to pattern...expensive but then they will last a lot longer than rubber. Not sure how these would compare with your quote as have not got that far discussing with them as was looking to use what they all ready have that is similiar to use (they do a full set for the ST4 for under £140.00)

I am going to a local custom car show this weekend and hopefully will see a chap there who last year was advertising his business making one off rubber and cotton reinforced vintage car hoses and who also made items for Scott, DKW and Excelsior vintage bikes.

Andy, I`ve compared the part numbers

80010091A hose to radiator & expansion tank
80010161A hose to expansion tank neck
80010131A vertical cylinder water inlet sleeve
80010141A horizontal cylinder water inlet sleeve

are the same on 906 & 907ie. The rest is different

Thanks G

I guess now what I'm wondering is if a set for the 907 provides an alternative fit for the 906 as the only thing driving the difference appears to be the metal tube in the middle that carrier the temp sensor.
Higgy as an owner of both and "engineering capable" your opinion here would be most helpful
