For what its worth, my chipped/piped ST2 would get up to 126, and my chipped/piped ST4s will do a bit better, but I have only gotten it up to 135.
The ST2 had 85-90 (est.) horse power, and the ST4s has 117 (dyno'd) What did the Sport/Paso have, 75 hp new?

Cheers,

Interesting - i have only riden my sport in anger at a track here in NZ and on a straight of approx 300m it would touch 120mph (indicated) before i had to hit the brakes - which is only 192kph. perhaps if you could hold on for a lot longer it might get near 205kph or so?

I would think your ST4 would go alot quicker than that?In 2006 i was looking for a new a sports/tourer and it was a toss up between a ST4 and a VFR Honda. Went for the Honda (never regretted fantastic all rounder) in the end purly on price and what you get (all paniers incl) as opposed to the the cost of a ST4 + everything else exta. I have had the Honda doing 248km indicated so I suspect the ST4 should do similar.
Cheers

...again, gearing, gearing, gearing... (SPROCKET RATIO!!!!) ;) ;) ;) ST4, and especially ST4S can make such top speed very easily with "right" gearing (suitable front and rear sprockets)...Anyway such "top speed discussion" is only "bullshit" for me, as here we have very low speed limits and hard acceleration is much more suitable (for curvey roads) compared to "top speed". Here nowone wants so high top speed....

For a 907 with slightly tuned ST3-Engine, i can`t tell. The finger of the speedo touches the speedo housing, when i am shifting from 5th into 6th gear....(Then it`s something about 245km/h, on the speedo)

Did that once. Rev-limiter comes at 267.3 km/h.
Think the drag of the modified Porsche 944 Turbo in front of me was helping... So i do not know how fast she really is. Maybe real 250km/h.

that is fast! i got carried away once andf tried to catch on of those modern triumphs that passed me on the motorway on the ace cafe run to brighton. i reckon i got above 125 mph on the 906 but i rarely cross the 100 mph line as its an automatic ban here in the uk.  :)
