What have you done today?

Post by Thebenelliman »

Went out this Sunday on the 907ie been getting cabin fever with the monsoon weather we have been having in the UK.
It was dry but only3 degrees luckily I have heated grips and gloves . Bike went really well and after 2 hours I headed home as the cold was starting to get through my clothing . A winter ride is a joy especially on a Ducati

We used to ride two up 50kms each way in snow , to work . Not that we were that dedicated just that was the only transport. Now I find that bulking up against the cold is restrictive enough to spoil a ride ,specially once one gets used to the modern lightweight sports riding gear ..........yeah , all that and I just got older and there is a lot to be said for a heater , comfy seat and a radio. :)

Hi Mc Tool you sound like you are becoming a slippers man , you must fight it. I find two wheels is a good cure for getting older.

Every time I tell someone I ride motorcycles I they think I am going to die. I am 60 now and would rather die doing something I enjoy.
