Re: DCNF float level diagram
I just wish to add that it's important to put the part in this vertical position, because the small spring inside the needle is "tuned" to bear this range of force: If you put the carb in orizontal position, it will show another gaugehiggy wrote:Thought this might help someone.............

Re: DCNF float level diagram
Yes it is extremely important to measure the level without any compression on the float needle spring. I was planning to adjust mine this week but find myself still waiting on the regulator I want to install. When I do finally get it I will post pictures here of the proper way to set a float level on a weber DCNF And as an extra added bonus I'll show you how to make a simple tool to do the job accurately with only the two hands god gave us all

Re: DCNF float level diagram
Anyhow, as a matter of fact, I realized that a gap of one or two mm. is not so important in this kind of carb, as they were built to work in automotive applications, with all the lateral forces cars have.

Re: DCNF float level diagram
took the carb down today and made a few interesting observations, first off discovered the correct float level for this 90 906 is 42mm. don't have an explanation yet but I will in a few days.................
