Sure!
Really, you can find on the web a great job about an 888 engine fitted on a 906.
When I'll remember that website, I'll post it there.

Yes, he made a great work, but anyway this requires 16" front rim and a heavyer engine... I still think that a tuned 944 desmodue can work better!
have a nice ride, Nicola

916IE 4V

My project has stalled but.... :screwy:
I have a 916 in my 907IE #1409 rollling chassis in my living room.
I also purchased a wrecked ST4 engine to use the heads on the 916 engine to help the front wheel clearance.
The bike will have the 916 ECU, harness, guages and all sensors.

All stock components are being retained and return to original and stock is entirely possible :D

added
This project was started because I had done a 140MPH (indicated) run with my (81HP on my dyno) 907IE #1311. It seemed sluggish from 110 up. Now I also have a 02 monster S-4 (916). I was curious to see if the 916IE 4V would be a 160MPH bike with the aerodynamics of the paso and gearing and HP from the 916. After all the extra 20 hp of the 147 MPH unfaired MS4/916 (101HP) should help?????
