Re: Coming out of winter

That seat cover looks nice. Just like mine with the Red/White/Green on the front of the seat. Only all black the rest of the way around. The foam grips I never really was a fan of, so I am going to make a nice small order for the Ducati this weekend. Grips, a nice new heavy duty cover, plugs, oil fi...

Re: Coming out of winter

Oh my thank you so much for all the info G! I had maintained it well last year and it was rode daily. Prior to that it did sit and I went over just about everything with the man I bought it from. I really do appreciate the info! As for the grips, I was told that it would be easier on my wrists/hands...

Coming out of winter

Hi all! Now that I will be getting some spare time in my schedule, college spring break a week away, I plan on getting my Paso 750 ready for the road once the warm weather comes. I am posting this because I am curious as to what I should check or replace. I understand the basics such as plugs, jets,...

Re: Top Speed??

For the 750... Fastest I ever hit was 130 on a flat stretch. My friend said he pushed 130 out of the bike on a down hill slop in Canada when he first bought the bike. That's just the 750 though

Re: Fuel Gauge and Temperature Gauge

Ok this was the easiest fix I have ever had. I took the tank off, noticed that the spark plug wire wasn't connected to the one plug :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: Well, I cleaned out the jets anyways and carb. This bike has so much power all of a sudden  :sh...

Re: Fuel Gauge and Temperature Gauge

So I have discovered the problem to my very poor gas mileage... the Paso is running on one piston. The second one is not firing. Taking the bike apart tomorrow and doing work on it to get it going for my trip back to college on Sunday. I am hoping no damage is done because I would be very upset if I...

Re: Euro Turn Signals

Thanks for the info! When I get home I'll take pictures and post them and hopefully they will help. I don't think I described it as well as it could have been. I know it has reflectors on the sides. I spoke to the man I bought it from and he said that it can be done, but he didn't like it so he remo...

Re: Euro Turn Signals

I took the rear tail light cover off and noticed that there was no housing for the turn signal bulbs (attachments and hookups). The man I bought the bike from wasn't a fan of it so he got rid of it. Though the turn signals I have on were cut to be as short as possible and due to age they are falling...

Re: Fuel Gauge and Temperature Gauge

Thanks for the info! I am wondering if there is a leak then because I did about 100 miles in a day and when I looked to see how much fuel was in the tank... I was nervous to see that there really wasn't a whole lot. Now I understand it was ALL highway driving (cruised at 70mph), but I would think th...

Re: Fuel Gauge and Temperature Gauge

After taking a few good looks at your pictures you posted and looking at my tank, I have realized that I did not clean the contacts very well on the underneath side of the tank. I am going to take it apart saturday, pull out the float and all, and see if there is something wrong internally (after I ...

Re: Euro Turn Signals

Do you happen to know if there are certain bulbs that should go there? I took things apart and noticed that there were no mounts for bulbs, so I am assuming that I will have to get the system from the auto parts store down the road. The wiring seems like a piece of cake. Hopefully I'll get it done f...

Euro Turn Signals

Hey guys! I am wondering if anyone has a wiring diagram for wiring the integrated euro turn signals. The ones I have are starting to fall off (they were trimmed and no longer are in one piece).
Is this a fairly easy project to wire the integrated turn signals?

Thanks,
Dustin

Re: Fuel Gauge and Temperature Gauge

Thank you for the pics!! I am close to empty on my tank so work will be done within a day or two. I am wondering if corrosion caused it because sitting for a few years and never really having a full tank at times; perhaps something went wrong.

I will find out that's for sure!! :-D

Re: Fuel Gauge and Temperature Gauge

How can you replace those? Is there an easier way to remove the system from the inside of the tank? I took off the gas cover and had enough to fit my one hand in. I figured I would wait till this tank runs dry and then mess with it. Do you happen to know if there is a way to replace only those wires...

Re: Fuel Gauge and Temperature Gauge

I cleaned the wires and crimped everything back into place. When I have the tank at a 60 degree angle it reads about half tank. I watch the float move around and everything seems to work. Soon as I give it a slight move, back to empty it reads. I followed the wiring diagram and made sure everything ...
