Re: Turn signal lenses?

Oh my... You have a BRAND NEW pair in blue?! Where on Earth did you find those?????? I have been trying to find an original blue right hand mirror since August! I have been riding around with the plastic OEM one and hate it!

Re: Trouble Removing Seat

Hey guys! Thanks for the advice on my seat problems. Turns out the pin was no longer threaded into the key lock. So I just took one of my many flat head screwdrivers and slowly pried the seat forward till it came up. Then took about a minute to screw the pin back in. Works good as new! Greatly appre...

Re: Trouble Removing Seat

Thanks Higgy! I hadn't thought of that, but did push the seat forwards a few times seeing if that would have helped it so the lock would grab. I'll make that work!

Thanks again!

Trouble Removing Seat

Hey guys! So I was out in the garage earlier this morning and saw the oil level was low in the Paso so I figured why not add a little as it would take a mere minute. A minute turned into an hour of sitting, trying, and pondering how to remove the seat. The locking mechanism that holds the seat on br...

Re: Anyone got any views on this?......

The airtech panels however are far superior to the standard Ducati parts and not cheap. ...then if you're not in the US you can add another $1000 just for shipping...they probabily deliver them via space shuttle       It is easy enough to get the original panels repair...

Re: Road Trip

So the trip was a success! Could not have asked for better weather! No rain and rode up and back with my jeans, a set of thermals, and my summer riding jacket and was sweating most of the way. Amazing what the weather can bring! Now T-Storms the next 3 days...

Re: 1st ride of the year

This happened to me the first time I rode my bike. Only I had to push it back to a gas station... :banghead: :banghead:

I ended up disconnecting the wire because I couldn't get it to read properly and the fuel light coming on was getting annoying. Now I just rely on my odometer

Re: Road Trip

I'm going to have to give that a try! Never thought about it and it would be beneficial. Have to give it a trial run today and see how it fits/feels under the full face helmet. Good thinking!

Re: Road Trip

I have done all the wiring upgrades. I am kicking around the idea of running a wire and bringing my snowmobile helmet; having a heated helmet may be a plus too. I can easily pull the wire from my snowmobile and figure a way to run it. I don't know if I want to go to that extreme though. I'd rather h...

Re: Road Trip

Well this trip is for visiting my girlfriend. We have been alternating weekends and I have been waiting for the first good weekend to do the drive. I am ready for it! Minus the whole cold hands part :-P

Re: Road Trip

The weather I am not all too worried about. I have done cold trips before (middle of November) and my only bad decision was not wearing warm gloves. I race snowmobiles during the winter and have a nice warm winter suit. I may borrow my friends heated suit! Providing he isn't using it. Just going to ...

I realize this doesn't relate much to a Paso discussion, but I would love to take her out and open her up on a good note. :)

Road Trip

Hello everyone! I wanted to post this to run it by others and get some opinions/thoughts. I have had a road trip planned for a weeks now and was going to use a car to go from Binghamton, NY to Boston, MA. After doing work on that car I decided to get rid of it, so I traded it for another one. This v...

Re: Coming out of winter

Prior to storing the bike I drained all fuel and gave the carb a nice cleaning. Usually I clean the carb out once a week when I was riding it as I am constantly messing with the carb on my dirt bike. It is just a habit I have of changing the chain/sprockets. I race motocross during the spring and fa...
