Antti,

do you have the chance to measure your headers inner and outter diameter on end and front side ?
I had several headers also 2in1 and the tube diameters were always the same.

James, zoom in the picture and the print it out. Measure the distance that`s indicated as 17.5 in the picture and note the actual value in your printout. Call it "A". Then measure the distance you`re looking for from the 320 line to the horizontal line of the upper brake mount (depending i...

"they don’t specify the distance from the wheel centre to the mounting holes" Do you mean from the wheel axle ? If so I would excpect that following the outline (320max) to the point where the first vertical line touches it (in the middle of the 2 pistons) and going down 160mm from this po...

not really, there`s a french comic series calle Joe Bar.
I found the Paso in an old magazine I scanned for the download section. It was printed on a background so the only thing that took some time was to cut it out nicely in Photoshop.

great, I overlooked this, but this is keeping the 16" wheels also.
However, moving out the caliper diagonally by 20mm should be it.

correct. In the link mentioned you also find the drawing of the 65mm brake.

I guess with this, the basic info from the 40mm brake adapter, the knowledge of the Brake disc size it should be possible to draw the correct adapter.

here`s the pic with the 65mm caliper http://www.geocities.com/750paso/paso/4pbrake/position.jpg I have to correct myself. I kept the 16" wheels. If you change also to 17" wheels the 65mm brake will be o.k.. The technical drawings though might help although they are for the 40mm brake and t...

if it has the 65mm brakes it should be > `97 as the models before had the 40mm (mounting hole distance) brake calipers I changed to the 40mm calipers. You can find the info here. I don`t think the 65mm are suitable. They don`t position really good. I have some pictures as I had thought about using e...

I would say the proper paper gasket.
I usually only use paper gaskets after applying some oil to them. Never had any problems. In case there is no paper gasket I use Hylomar. Works great, but it depends on application.

Hi, I have to correct myself. The number of the piston I mentioned is correct, but it`s not from a 750SS but from a 900SS w. dry clutch (91-97) (and younger according to my mechanic). This clutch is operated from the opposite side of the engine, however the piston fits. We checked the numbers today....

Luca, one question. I thought they are very strict in Italy when changing engines. I know a friend who was with other riders in Italy (all on Cagiva Elephants) and as they were stopped by the police, these also hcecked frame and engine number. They noticed that one bike had a different engine so thi...
