Re: Any New Yorkers ? Would ya help me out really quick ....
Have any of you been to Competition Cycles in Port Washington and seen the 87 Paso 750 they have listed? If so .. how are they to deal with? I am very interested in this bike. Thanks Much ! Took a little bit of digging, but it appears that Competition Cycles is owned by the son of the famous Sal De...

Re: Fairing bolts on eBay, any good?
I believe this ad is just for bolts, nothing else, and they are incorrect in terms of head and construction. Original fairing bots are not button heads, and are hollow, not solid. Those bolts are heavy and high profile and if you want them, they are available from McMaster-Carr catalog for about $1...

Re: Flooded engine
One of the reasons to have good positive crankcase ventilation with a a one way valve on the breather pipe. Cheers, Phil Is this normally how the gas gets into the motor on a Paso? My Paso doesn't have an air box (Dellorto conversion) so I don't know. I have this problem on another bike, but the ga...

Re: Goldentyre Paso tires
$390 a set??? snap them up!! Just shows how much we are being ripped off here in the UK Well, just a guess but I would expect that tires made in Korea, as these are reported to be, would ship direct to the US. Shipping rates are incredibly cheap Asia to US; a small container is $3,000 (20' length)....

Re: Unstarted paso 750 Help
Did the bike run when he stored it? Try this: Put the bike on its center stand. Take the spark plugs out. Place the bike in gear. Turn the tire, this should cause the engine to turn over. It isn't easy to do, but it should turn with the force of one hand. If the engine turns over, you've got a probl...

Re: 7 sets of tires left in canada
your offer to get permission from the US distributor to ship tires directly to me from Canada was above and beyond the call of duty - It's all appreciated. What was the outcome of this request for permission? I'd be interested in a set this way, if GoldenTyre USA doesn't come thru. Mike, your effor...

Motors for sale in TX - not mine
Saw this ad on C'List today, thought I'd post it up for anyone needing a motor like I did a few years ago. I especially like how they are "elpaso" motors... http://austin.craigslist.org/mcy/3432938238.html 2 ducati 750 elpaso motors - $600 (AUSTIN) Date: 2012-11-25, 7:41AM CST Reply to: se...

Re: I hate to say goodbye..
tired of trying to justify $800 for a single set when they finally get here. Can you elaborate on this? I have an email from Stefy dated 16 July, she quoted $390 a set, plus shipping. I see that price quoted in another recent thread on Goldentyres as well. Sorry to hear you're thinking of giving up.

Re: finaly tires are here in canada
Looking forward to hearing how they perform.
Also looking forward to a call from Stefy, saying my tires are in, here in the US. I'm starting to get worried, though!
Last email from her was almost 2 weeks ago. She was replying to my request for an update, asking me to be patient...

Re: Fairing Bolts?
Probolt do anodised alloy fairing screws(16mm). They do the washers too. Those Pro-bolt kits do look nice! And I always wondered why no one did body fastener kits in aluminum. But I was hoping to find a source for just a couple of fasteners, here in the USA. Surprised it's such an unusual size head...

Re: Issue with rebuild kits
Definitely call Steve at Bevel Heaven and see what he says. I have no experience with the stock parts on the Paso master cylinder, but I have had this exact issue with several other models of Duc's. The little white retainer in this photo is what prevents the piston from popping thru. The ID of the ...

I'm not absolutely 100% certain, but I believe the 907 bodywork can be fitted to the 750 Paso, if you change all 3 pieces. Unsure if this means the 906 could be fitted as well. Here is a photo of my 750 Paso, which has 907 bodywork on it. (sorry the 996 blocks half the bike, but you can see how the ...
