Re: starter for 88 Paso
Well I tried to remove the wire from the starter and it was rusted on and it would only spin. So it looks like I will be replacing the complete starter now Hey now - Don't spaz out - ok ok - so puns aren't what I am good at. But starters I am. What just happened to your starter is to be expected AN...

Apparently being dropped on your head has ramifications . .
Apparently being dropped on your head has ramifications . . As in this gentleman's obvious lapse of judgment who just found the "Key for the Ducati Monster [he] traded for a Honda Magna" and now wants to give it to the new owner of his Monster . . . only on craigslist  http://sfbay....

O.K. POR it is. Is 1 pint sufficient? Here is a link to POR's fuel systems products: http://www.por15.com/Fuel-System-Restoration/products/12/ As you can see there are many choices but I am swinging towards the simplest one http://www.por15.com/US-STANDARD-TANK-SEALER/productinfo/TSG/ in combination...

Re: PANIC! pictorial reference needed
Yup - I had that problem when I went to a 130/70/16 - I broke a piece off the bottom of one of my lower fairings. Since then, no problems.pasoist wrote:the front wheel met with the fairing

Re: PANIC! pictorial reference needed
Hmm . . . well I believe if you are missing the spacer and/or washer then the front discs and pads should be rubbing due to wheel play i.e. side to side movement of the wheel on the axle. Center stand the bike and get the front wheel off the ground and give it a spin. Any sloppiness should give rise...

Re: PANIC! pictorial reference needed

Is there side to side movement of the wheel? Is the wheel closer to one of the fork tube rather than the other? It's to...

Re: Clutch problem?????
If you feel that the clutch isn't engaging or dis-engaging correctly or consistently I suggest that you start with bleeding the fluid clutch system - in it's entirety . . . You will find a wealth of information and experiences involved with the Paso's "bleeding clutches" right here - dig i...

Fuel cap rubber gaskets
Question: Am I missing an upper rubber gasket on my fuel cap?
I seem to recall seeing something like a rubber gasket in a photo somewhere . . .
The cap doesn't seal tightly - it kinda jiggles around a bit
