Re: Chain Adjusters - should they slide freely?
I haven’t shaved them yet. I guess I’ll scratch that idea if you guys think that’s not a good path. Both sides have the same amount of stiffness it seems to me so I don’t think a reversed conical spacer is the root of it for the sprocket side. Nevertheless, I’ll know I’ll have to give the wheel some...

Re: Chain Adjusters - should they slide freely?
Thanks for the insight MC, I got them out tonight. Some spacers and washers, then hammer and drift got them out. There aren’t any burrs turned up or significant dirt; the extrusion sides just an interference fit to the slides. They will go in maybe a half inch freely, then tighten up. I’m going to t...

Re: Did you ride today? Show me!
Another decent afternoon, mid 50’s. Too nice to pass up before putting the 907ie on the lift for some fettling. During my 40 miles I came upon some agricultural yard art.

Chain Adjusters - should they slide freely?
I searched around the forums but I didn’t see info relating to my my direct questions. I’m doing some winter tinkering and got to the swing arm. The chain/axle adjusters in the box section - they’re very tight in their cavities. I can understand some drag in movement but these are really tight. If I...

Re: temperature gauge
As I get more seat time with my recently purchased ‘92 907ie I’ve been wondering if my coolant temperature is “normal”. This time of year I’m riding in air temperatures that are give or take 60 deg F. C07C583C-0E6F-4F95-8A4A-41A2B1560EB1.jpeg The pic is from the bike a couple days ago right after a ...

Re: Did you ride today? Show me!
When one gets 60 deg F on new year’s day in the mid Atlantic states you have to get in a ride.

750 Part Out
It’s a shame but a guy on the Paso Facebook group is parting out a 750. He’s got a bunch of stuff, location is in Mississippi. Maybe somebody needs something he’s got.

Re: Trying to learn
Sharp looking 750 Ken, nice to see you hang on to it.
I’ll offer a guess on that set screw - someone more knowledgeable can correct me - that it’s a plug for an externally drilled oil galley.

Re: idling adjustment
Opposite of what the OP had going on, my idle speed is a smige low to my liking, at 900-1000 rpm. It will occasionally stall, or just seems on the verge of it constantly. So I want to bump it up a hundred or two rpm. So reading this post I thought I would give this adjustment screw a try. First was ...

Re: Mirror enquiry
On a short ride yesterday I noticed the LH mirror had a lot of movement and I came across this topic along with many others on our lovely machines while researching how to tackle the fix. As I am new to the Paso line I am devouring the great repository here, and where gaps exist on details I’ll work...

Re: Rear brake light switch?
Some info on the rear brake light switch. As member Derek mentioned previously MDINAITALIA.co.uk has them available. I received and installed this switch from them last week. A couple of new washers, system bleed and I was good to go.

Re: Spare key
I know this is an old thread but maybe the following info will help someone. I received today 2 uncut SILCA key blanks from eBay seller “melissmagna0”. On eBay I searched the alpha numeric string molded on the back of they key “ZD24RDP” and this seller came up. They are identical to the single key t...

906 & 907 Factory Manuals for Sale
I recently bought a 907IE, as part of the sale I asked if they had the shop manual. The reply was “no”, but they had the owners manual. So while waiting for delivery of the bike I bought the 906/907 manual set off of eBay. Well don’t you know when the shipment arrives there is an owners manual and t...

Not Mine - ‘91 907ie for sale
I saw a classified ad for a “project” 907ie over on the Ducati.ms site.
It is located in Colorado. Maybe of interest to a fellow Ducatista.
