Ooops,
Re: Posting
You have to live auto correct. Gets me in more strife than Flash Gordon at times. Sprag to Spray is a very small not too damaging correction. Another good one is the f@#$%&g iPhone. Ever sent a message to one person, then just went in and sent another to who you thought was someone else! Yeah, t...

But your scintillating answers would be missed!
Happy days Hamish, it does the same to me with the smart phone. I gave up and smoked up the laptop. It works OK.
Worked out how to fix it. Turn the phone on its side. Submit button is where it should be!
Cheers.
Nick.

Re: Need help with left cover removal
No worries Bill, just remember what could possibly go wrong? Oh, one thing I did forget. Oil can be left in the motor if you are not planning to change it. Oil only comes through when the motor is turned over. I managed to spill about half a litre before I found that out the hard way! I was lucky I ...

Re: Need help with left cover removal
Hi Bill. It's been a while since I replaced the spray bearing and pulled out the starter motor, but the memory should be OK, but as always, be careful with what you do. The water pump doesn't need to be removed from the cover. The drive slots in to where it needs to go pretty easily. I have read som...

Re: Ignition problem
Hi. Have you fitted the modification that is in the FAQ's that inserts a relay into the start system. 12v to the start solenoid goes through one of the fuses, through the kill switch and the start button and back to the solenoid. Without the wiring diagram in front of me, it may also go through the ...

Re: Can i ride the paso daily?

There is no city ride, just 25 Km of open roads, fields and mountains, just fun ride and beautiful views on the way to work and back. the way back it's down hill all the way, need to think how keep it at working temp!!! Ride faster for bette...

Re: '92 907ie ... high idle when warm
Hi JD. I'm going with you did a full service and clean out before you hit the start button? With the service you drained and replaced the coolant etc!? The coolant system is a bit odd in that it is pretty easy to get air locks in it. The other thing to check would be the temperature sensor in the co...

Re: Rear tail fairing help
Hi. As Stiv has already said, these are usually a plastic lug that is held in place with a rubber grommet in the tank. The rubbers are still available from Mr Ducati. The covers of my 907 have had the lugs cut off and filed back so they don't even look like they were ever there! A couple of the pane...

Good luck with finding the chain slider through Ducati or KTM. You may find a new one on eBay, but they are as rare as fresh dinosaur footprints! Drop Rudy an email and see if he has a secondhand slider. His contact details are info@duc-only.nl You may even luck out if you go to a for sale ad that R...

Hi Arch.
Yeah, hear you about the kids. The closest one of mine got was sitting his scooter drivers license, but lost interest when he failed it.
The trouble with having so many, is you will eventually need an aircraft hanger to fit them all in!
Cheers.

Thanks everyone. Found it. I must have knocked it when I last did the brake, and it fell off during the ride.

Neutral Switch
Hi everyone. Does anyone have a picture of where the neutral switch goes into the gearbox? It does appear the switch on the 907 has had a small hernia, and is now doing SFA. The globe in the dash is all good (swapped between globes in the dash), and it was working before I went for a small ride, but...

Hi. This may not be of much use but Italspares in Adelong NSW (Australia) did have them brand new. Ian will post OS, but the cost may be a little prohibitive. The email addresses I have is iangowanloch@bigpond.com or italspares@gmail.com. I have a phone number somewhere, but due to time differences,...
