Re: Got Paso home, made it run, almost died, parting out bike

Don't sell it yet,Park it and let yourself heal. There are plenty of parts bikes around and besides Ducati has been making mechanics out of riders since 1946

Cluster lighting

Has any one tried the new led 194 bulbs? Dont want to swap to the higher output 168 bulbs as I,ve had heat issues with them in the past in other clusters which are much easier to replace than this ducati one. Found a set of 20 on ebay for 17 bucks, figured I'd give them a try

Re: Reverseshifting setup

I see no reason why an individual with a disability shouldn't be allowed the pleasure of riding down the side of a mountain switchback with the scent of pine in the air on a Ducati.  I'm not there yet,it took me 2 years of therapy to get to the point where I can walk without tripping. I...

Re: Reverseshifting setup

Played around with the shift linkage a bit today,Reverse setup is working better for me,not perfect but I think it allows me to shift much easier and with much less strain. Got it set as low as I could with out binding or worse grounding on hard corners. Took about a 200 mile jaunt down by the Delaw...

Reverseshifting setup

Took some time off from riding to ask if anyone here has any suggestions or experience with reverse shifting setup on a paso?.Three rounds of lumbar surgery over the years have left me with a bit of a foot drop issue and I find myself seeking every neutral position the ducati has to offer. I can pus...

Re: duke heaven

although I personally have never blown up a battery(unintentionally that is) I am well aware of the possibility. I have known more than one individual that has had such an experience over the course of my career. All of these explosions involved reverse charging, two involved lead acid,5 involved ni...

Re: duke heaven

Appreciate the heads up,put a small catch bottle,4cc vial on the breather for now, next week the bike comes apart for a going over. It is a 1990 906 with 9500 miles completely stock except for Renn sport slip ons and some replaced body work, apparently it took a parking lot dive a year ago
