Re: Weber carb Fuel Pump Question on 906

Lo Stiv. Sounds like a standard ride on a 907! The relay mod works on the 907. I bought Lane's 906 back when it was for sale, and he had done the mod on that too, and it works a treat. Its living in another state at the moment (don't ask), so can't even go out and check things from afar for you. Hop...

Re: Weber carb Fuel Pump Question on 906

Lo Stiv. If the pump is cranking all the time, a replacement wouldn't make much difference. The pump must be getting 12 volts from somewhere? If the wiring has been changed at some point, then the fuel pump 12 volts may have been connected direct to the battery to try and take load away from the kil...

Re: 88 750 w/GOLD Valve caps (orig) only 50 made?

Hi Derek.

I gave the caps a clean last time I did the valves. They came up pretty close to the same colour as the brake calipers. Brembo gold maybe?

Cheers.

Re: HELP! Rebuild of 1992 907ie clutch master cylinder

Hi Martin.

Only thing left is the slave cylinder. Rebuilt kit available from your friendly neighborhood Ducati dealer or replace the whole lot with an aftermarket unit.

Cheers

At least they may let you drink the beer before they use the rolled up beer can?

Hi Paul.

Did your replacement slave come with the special extender for older Ducati's?

Cheers.

Re: Clutch Leak??

Hi Paul. The best way I have found to get the clutch working is to bleed it backwards. Pretty much get a big syringe (20ml or bigger), a short length of clear hose, fill it up with fluid and connect it all to the bleeder. Open it up, push in the plunger until fluid comes out into the reservoir and n...

Re: Silly Season Again

Hi Stiv.

Just curious, but how would you have gone if some like minded person in Australia purchased said item for you sent it across? Would you have been belted by customs and duties?

Cheers.

Re: Clutch Leak??

Hi Stiv. Out of curiosity, how long did it take for the clutch pressure to drop off. I have just had the 907 in storage for the last 8 months. Clutch was tight as a drum when I left, and was loose when I got back. A week later after pulling the clutch lever in and out a few times the pressure is now...

Re: vin problem

Hi. Found this on a Ducati Forum some time back. http://www.ducati.org/forums/central/38976-vin-decoder.html If it helps at all, the 906 I have has a D for the 5th digit, and the 907 has a G. According to the above it could well be a T for Sports Touring? Other than the 5th to 8th digit, all the oth...

Re: 907IE Radiator Hoses

Hi All, If anyone has any pictures of their SamcoSport 907 i.e. hoses fitted, we would be very interested to see them - Always good for us to see the finished product installed. Also, if any of you have other Ducati Models, the PASO10 code will also work for all the Ducati kits listed on our websit...

Re: now this is a cool DB1 :)

I`m amazed by the prices. 19.500AUD for a 900SS? http://www.raidermoto.com/1989-ducati-900-supersport/ The Supermono is cool, strangely there's no price tag on that one. I also didn't know there was a small version of the 750 Sport: http://www.raidermoto.com/1991-ducati-400-ss/ Hi G. The 900SS was ...

Re: now this is a cool DB1 :)

Hi G. It is lacking something though? I had a look at his other bikes a little while ago. He has some rare beasties in amongst them all. Hamish would be very pleased with the Vincent! The bike that he did have, and has now left his Website was a Honda NR750. Very unlikely to get on my bike inventory...

Re: McTools birthday

You could prop yourself in that sidecar in the last pic, leg out front and yell mush to those that want to pull the go fast trigger! It must be good for about 20km/h, and you get a spare wheel too.... And yes, look at those bikes. There must be a few hiding in there. There is a car museum up the Wes...

Re: 907IE Fuel Tank Wanted

The shot through the fuel cap hole shows a very limited view of the fuel pump mount, and the clips where the degasser sits too. The shot of the bottom of the tank is a bit odd, or I may have missed it. The return line is there, the hole for the NRV is there, but only one breather is there? 95% rule ...
