Re: ECU Test Light

Morning. Got the parts and built the LED test light. Haven't found a suitable plug for the test socket under the seat, so the cable has boot lace ferrules on the end which slip in nicely. Plugged it in, tested the LED. No problems. Put it in test mode, started the bike which promptly did the right t...

Re: Carbtune Throttle body sync tool

Hi Claude. Ooops. Made a blue with the sizes of adaptors that came with the Carbtune. It comes with 5mm + 6mm plastic adaptors or you can purchase the 5mm + 6mm brass adaptors. My original post had 4mm + 5mm. Its definitely the smaller (5mm) that screw into the Inlet duct. Sorry about that. Cheers. ...

Re: Carbtune Throttle body sync tool

Hi Claude. The first time I sync'ed the Throttle bodies, I connected the Carbtune onto the outlets that go back to the 3 bar prssure valve for the fuel pump. There is a T piece in between the 2 throttle bodies. I pulled the single line off and plugged it so there wouldn't be any interation with the ...

Carbtune Throttle body sync tool

Afternoon all. The 907 is now running a treat. The miss is pretty much gone. The result of having both throttle bodies in sync! After much thought and contemplation, I went down the purchase my own Sync tool route rather than take it to a bike Mechanic, which are few and far between in this part of ...

Re: ECU Test Light

Hi everyone. In search of the ECU flashing light tester I came across this post. Its a little old, but after reading it, I gather those that tried to make the tester from the schematic didn't have much luck. Is anyone still interested in getting an ECU Flashing Light tester working? Did anyone have ...

Re: Another New 907ie owner, and inevitable questions

The pump cutout when the engine is not running is indeed standard progamming, nothing to worry. When you set up the TPS at 150 mV, did you fully unscrew the screws of both valves, or only one? I know that often one of them is forgotten, and since the valves are connected via the sync screw, a dead ...

Re: Another New 907ie owner, and inevitable questions

Afternoon All. Thanks to those who have posted replies. I thought I would add a picture of the 907 and answer the questions too. Also a couple of things I forgot yesterday (CRAFT setting in?). And like all good things, more evolution too. The 907 has a set of Staintune Mufflers with what looks like ...

Re: Another New 907ie owner, and inevitable questions

Welcome Nick, I have one question and one question only for you. Where the hell are you going to find a bend in the road that will provide any fun at all in the Broome area? Cheers. Well, there are more roundabouts around here than sand on the beach, so they keep the tyres from becoming too flat at...

Another New 907ie owner, and inevitable questions

Evening all. As the subject says, another 907ie owner has come into the fold. Had it about 2 months, and it goes very nicely sitting next to the Blue ute. Which brings me to the inevitable questions, as it doesn't run as nicely as I would like. I have been reading all the posts regarding the 907 (al...
