Just to confirm. I have taken Friday off work and will be tootling up the 240 miles in the afternoon on the rebuilt 907 (thank you Brother in law). I am staying in the pub for two nights and leaving for South Wales first thing on Sunday.

My battery is secured by wedging pieces of foam (sponge) either side of it. It has never failed an MOT in all the years I have owned it. My brother in law has a 907 too and there is no strap on his either. Don't worry about it!

I don't see how anybody other than the DVLA can confirm how many registered vehicles, cars, bikes there are in any one particular class.
