Re: starter motor failure

The electrical cable upgrades that most are talking about is: http://motolectric.com/makes/ducati.html I hear this modification really makes a difference. I would check all the grounds and connections of the cables as mentioned. There are some ground places under the tank towards the front. Good luc...

Re: Thinking of Going Waterless

I use water and water wetter.

Started using it for track days. Most tracks don't allow anti-freeze. I've been using this for years and haven't noticed a big difference in temperature.

Re: fuel pumps again

Arch, Sorry I didn't get back with you. Unusually busy this week. I was going to tell you about the pump. Bosch makes the replacement most people get since the Webber is not obtainable or is too costly. Also, the same fuel pump that fits a BMW K100, about 1985 and up is the same arrangement. I have ...

Tail light replacement

Where is the best and cheapest place to get a replacement tail light lens. It doesn't really matter if it is European spec. or USA spec.
I trying to get an idea of what is available.
Thanks

Re: Fuel Pump Removal

When you put the pump back in, don't forget to hook back up and check the rubber overflow hose that goes to the gas cap ring. If you forget this, then when you fill'er up, gas will pour out your overflow hose on the ground until the tank empties to about 3/4. Yes, that's experience talking. :)

Re: stripping paint

Arch, Before you paint talk to me. I just had my redone this past winter by a guy in Yadkinville. He still has some of the paint he used on mine. He keeps it with my name on it just for me. He did a wonderful job, at a great price. He loves bikes and a week after he finished my bike I let a guy sit ...

nickta,

Just so for your information;
The 907 in front of the old English manor house is actually a house located in one of the colonies,
Asheville, North Carolina, USA. It's the largest privately owned home in the US. :)

Re: Its Sprag time....

Nickta, I thought I better chime in on this one. If you tighten that nut incorrectly (to tight) it can crack and explode the rotor, making it gain in circumference and welding itselt to the stator. This will lock up the engine and spread aluminum particles throughout the engine causing the need to h...
