Re: Timing Belts for 907ie
Check out this post I did a while ago. http://forums.ducatipaso.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=5986&p=48519&hilit=du907#p48519 I have had them on the bike for a year now and all is well. Bought them at Bevel Haven. https://store.bevelheaven.com/engine-related/bucci-kevlar-timing-belt-906-907ie-...

Re: 300 mm brake discs
Projectman, I would just buy whatever after market pad I liked, not worrying about getting the ones with the anti-rattle spring like the OEM ones shown below, and get a set of the later model (900ss maybe) anti-rattle springs, also shown below. They will fit the calipers perfectly and that way you s...

Re: Front Fork Seals rebuild, need a list of parts
Doubleduc, I posted the 900ss seals post. I will get a picture of the seals (on the bike is best I can do). I can't remember exactly, I got my last set from pyramid. The "900ss" seals I'm talking about are the same exact size inside (tube) and same on the outside (leg) as the original seal...

Re: Fork Height in the triples on 907?
ducinthebay: I set my bike up using the tried and true method of ride height, suspension sag, and so on. See below: http://www.suspensionshop.org/tech_suspension_setup.php As far as my front forks, after the ride height, sag, etc. was set, they are pretty much all the way up to where they stop again...

I see your point. Do you think maybe Ducati put the washer on the right so the shoulder of the axle would distribute the pressure on the the bearing better?

Re: Front Fork Seals rebuild, need a list of parts
I would like to throw a wrench into this wheel. :) I have 60,000 miles on my 907. I have replaced the forks seals at least 6 times. Seems that after a few hard rides in the mountains or track days, the seals would leak. I think I still have a pair of the 907 style fork seals in a drawer. I switched ...
Re: Oddities
Hey guys. First, the ferrule on my speedo cable has always been on the bottom. Even when I got a replacement, it was on the bottom. I know what you guys mean about it being at the top to keep it from sliding out, but the ferrule would also be acting like a bumper, only letting the cable go so far in...

Re: 907 Front Sprocket
black907, Here are pictures of the correct sprocket. Notice it has the same size "boss" on both sides. The retaining clip that is held on with the two screws into the sprocket fits in a groove on the spline shaft. This will set the sprocket on the shaft in the proper location. http://i701....

Re: Just changed fuel pipes in the tank now hard starting
Something to check: Did you reverse the hoses to the tank on the outside when putting things back together? You mentioned the hose splitting. I'm guessing it was one of the rubber hoses inside the tank. Check the shop manual on this forum site for the proper hose routing, then check what you have. O...

Re: Starter Clutch for 907ie
If it is catching and releasing, it could very well be the starter clutch. When mine quit, the starter motor would spin but the engine did not turn over, it was slipping that much. The left cover has to come off, then the alternator rotor and flywheel. The starter clutch (sprag clutch) is bolted to ...

Re: front engine cylinder head leaking oil.
Sean, Use the search function on this site. That topic has been discussed a lot and there are pictures and much information about these small leaks. Like others said, there is no head gasket. There are two o-rings that for water passages and I believe two for oil passages. The o-rings are a specific...
