Re: Starter problems.

Hi ,The end cap on the starter is 180 degrees off,I done the same thing, same whirring,(spins backwards).Easy fix. Jay Just thought of something, the cap is 180 degrees off in relation to the windings,so if your power lead connection is in the wrong spot, you could have the whole centre piece 180 degre...

Re: Tech folder???

Turin, There is some information on airbox modifications available, several paragraphs citing air fuel changes,hp increases etc. I have just gone through my pdf files looking for it,but can't remember which book it was in,I think it was an Ian Fallon book but I'm not sure, hopefully this will jog the ...

Re: Weber 44 DCNF part help

Re: weber what if ?

If any of you guys with webered 750's have your tanks off at the moment could you please check your pump cams and let me know the number.I'm curious as to if they were all fitted with the 10 cam or not. There may be an alternative to filing the cam down as mine has a steel plate that fits neatly ins...

Re: weber what if ?

I'm battling to take a decent digital picture at the moment, took the dog fishing and he got the camera case strap caught around his leg and took the whole lot swimming in the river, took a few minutes to realise, and now the camera is a bit average, but I'll give it a go in the morning, and try to get s...

Re: weber what if ?

Ok, some good news guys, the niggly little miss, just after take off, that has been pissing me off for quite some time, well I got a bit bored today and had a play. I've long suspected that it was the accelerator pump shot, delivering too much fuel too early, and I even got the file out at one stage and ...

Re: Weber 44 DCNF part help

That should be fine Jason.Identical to my setup as a matter of fact, except for the air horn. You should be able to drill some holes for the air correctors and chokes in that one if they havn't provided any ventilation. The spacer now looks identical and the air filter is the same dimensions. The above...

Re: Weber 44 DCNF part help

Hi Jason, Don't forget that the plastic air filter lower case ,if removed formed an extension of the velocity stack of about 20 mm.What I did when modifying my spare air filter case was to trim it to the same shape as the velocity stack .I think that it also restricts the air flow somewhat as it sit...
