Re: Butchered swingarm
Hi Persempre, when the bearings spin/move as intended I would leave them in place. the same counts for the wheelbearings, as these faced the axial load during the damaging to the swingarm. lock-wiring the nuts is an option, although not strictly necessary as the original nuts are mechanical selfreta...

Well spoken G.,
and than look into your wallet and decides which one is the best fit.
some cosmetic things can be done later, as the engine/drive-train/brakes related items should be handled with less possible delay.

Re: Which one do I buy?
Hi Jimmy, welcom here. when the bikes you're looking for have covered 15K or 21K, they are both low miles bike. mine has over 65.000 kM and still sound. more important is to know the history of the bike and how long the owner had the bike. even with low mileage bikes you will have some issues. All t...

Re: Which bits?
Battery: Varta 16 Ah 260 cca due to AGM technology. not cheap, but very good IMO. Tyres: Bridgestone BT 023. cold grip is very good. steers well and will live long. so far done 7000 km with them and they will last an other 3000 easily. next set of tyres could be Conti Sportattack. chain/sprockets: D...

Re: THE PASO GOES THROUGH ITS PACES ON THE DYNO...
Both the power/torq figures are more or less the same. only a few hp difference. you can claerly see that the airflow gets restricted over 7000 rpm. torq drops of and power stays the same. porting improves the situation a little bit. valve timing and larger valves would benefit. MyEcu is for sure a ...

Re: Hey Weber guys
having different jetting for different cylinders is not uncommon. Bevelheads like the 900 SuperSport ran 152 main jet in the front and 155 main jet rear, due to the location of the inlet and exhaust port of the rear cylinder. Measuring the temp. is a good thing to get them "balanced" in he...

Re: 907ie flywheel weight ?
Hi Pasonut, the flywheel is 868 gr. and the sprague ring is 496 gr. making a total of 1364. have not drivin' it yet on the Paso. the Mike Hailwood, I've been riding without a flywheel. the whole engine is more livelly, spins faster. it would still Idle and driveble from ± 2500 rpm. I guess the Paso ...

Re: 907ie flywheel weight ?
Hi Paso750,
why is it important to know the exact weight?
I would say you're pretty right about 1.8 kg.
it can be lightened fairly easy to 1.25 kg by turned out excesive material and drilling.

Re: Paso-ferry-straps-how to?
Hi Gert, I would say two in the front, from the steeringhalves/yoke down on the outside of the fairing. take some rags with you to put eventually between the straps and bodywork if the angle of the straps is pretty steep. on the rear, on over the saddle. that should do to compress the suspension and...
