Yes, a sealed oil gallery. I was advised not to try and remove them. Too soft. Sealed mine with rtv after a very thorough cleaning and it hasn't leaked.

Anti-seize your rear axle/swingarm pinch bolts at some point. For me, the clutch bleed was easy once I removed the left handle bar and controls/mc and tilted it a bit more than was possible when bolted to the bike. I later bought the mightyvac which helps too. Also see that you have near full voltage going to the coils. If there is a significant parasitic loss it may be in your off/run/off or start switch. They can be fairly easily removed, disassembled, and contacts cleaned. While stronger coils helped a missing cylinder condition on my 88, it crept back...
