Yes, a sealed oil gallery. I was advised not to try and remove them. Too soft. Sealed mine with rtv after a very thorough cleaning and it hasn't leaked.

Anti-seize your rear axle/swingarm pinch bolts at some point. For me, the clutch bleed was easy once I removed the left handle bar and controls/mc and tilted it a bit more than was possible when bolted to the bike. I later bought the mightyvac which helps too. There were some issues with seals going...

I have used in the past a large flat brush ( not a broom ) with the bristles trimmed short ( not a word Nnnnnnornan :lol: :lol: :lol: ) and I just stick the bristle side into the cooler..... works a treat and never fell out either , and easily removed when the ambient temp gets up :) Now that's usi...

I found a place you can get a Ducati logo, but I am not sure of the font name. Maybe searching there will give you some direction.

Thank you, and yes I am referring to North American ones. Let's see if I can remember correctlty. I believe the C510 transmission is made in Verona Italy, Engines in Dundee Michigan, and they are all assembled in Mexico as you say. I am hoping to obtain a 2013 this summer. And the Motorcycle Safety Foundation would have us believe we are not to cover the brake and clutch levers lest we break a finger in an impact. Not covering them could be far worse with these.

Also see that you have near full voltage going to the coils. If there is a significant parasitic loss it may be in your off/run/off or start switch. They can be fairly easily removed, disassembled, and contacts cleaned. While stronger coils helped a missing cylinder condition on my 88, it crept back...
