am i going mad here - Golden Tyres

a couple of weeks ago I browsed through all of the forum pages talking about the introduction of Golden Tyres GT070/071 that will fit a Paso 750. By following various embedded links I ended up on the website of a UK supplier that was listing tham as available for purchase online (if i recall was abo...

Ducati Paso 750 for sale. Kent, UK MORE PHOTOS ADDED

Here is my nice 1990 Paso for sale. Reg: H425 UYB Frame: 754364 Engine: 754376 Mileage: 14,981 I bought it just before the Royal Wedding last year and it has been really fun to own but unfortunately 'house projects' mean it now has to go to a new home. It is in good condition, runs well, has bags of...

Re: Paso 750 handling - can anyone describe it to me?

Higgy, I know what you mean about a Paso growing one you... I already think mine is actually making me a better rider. The last 5 weeks have shown me that I've become a bit lazy (but not inattentive!) riding the Beemer. Great brakes (linked front and rear and working in good balance just off the han...

Re: Paso 750 handling - can anyone describe it to me?

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Let me clarify a couple of things as I think I have muddied the waters with my inarticulate descriptions The steering only feels heavy when stationary in comparison to my modern BMW i.e. it takes significantly more effort to move the bars from side to side. I'll inv...

Re: Paso 750 handling - can anyone describe it to me?

I dont think it is a front tyre pressure issue as am definitely running with the recommended tyre pressures However at 16 stone I could perhaps go up a couple of p.s.i. to offset being such a fat lump so will give that a try to see if it makes a difference. Will also double check eccentrics etc as m...

Paso 750 handling - can anyone describe it to me?

Well I've had the P750 for almost 5 weeks now and have put a few miles on it to help us both get acquainted. It is running on well-treaded but old Michelin A59/M59 tyres and I just wondered if anyone out there can give me an indication whether what I am experiencing is 'normal'? Firstly - The bike's...

Re: i need some help.....no tyres!!

I've never heard of wheels being welded up to increase size from 16" to 17" and would be every interested to learn more about this. Has anyone actually done it? got any pics? What size tyres would you then fit to ensure that chain/drivetrain/swingarm size issues dont impact? Will a 17"...

17"wheel conversion

Is a 907 ie swinging arm a direct drop in replacement for a 750 Paso swinging arm? Am thinking of doing a 17" wheel conversion

Re: New tyres

Hi Jeff I know this will sound daft but after years of riding shaft drive Beemers am not very up on chains. What is a half link? And did u have to increase size of rear sprocket? I bought a 750 Paso last week that needs new tyres before I will ride it again. Rode it 295 miles home from Wales, fine o...

Re: Tyres for 750 Paso

Hi Loki

Thanks for the info and the pics (bike looks great!) It doesnt look as though you had to grind too much off side wall to get the tyre to fit

Re: Tyres for 750 Paso

Thanks for the info. Is particularly useful to hear from someone who has actually ridden the 150/80 option. I think I've had it easy up to know on the Beemer.. Fit Bridgestones, ride them until they wear out, fit more Bridgestones... 5 years of being a no-brainer :) Did you have to do any spacer/cha...
