Very nice. Always liked that colour scheme. Keep an eye on that KN oil breather, they can oil your rear tyre apparently!

Nice, sounds interesting. I love modified bikes. Those swingarms are well des in uk. I got one for my naked SSie and had it polished. They look so much stronger and stylish compared to earlier arm and address a few problems they had. I'd like to see the 916 fork/yoke arrangement.

Cheers, Keith.

Re: who still makes a new rear shock?

Hagon in uk do a good quality 'budget' shock that has combined compression/rebound adjustment. I have one on my 907 i'm quite happy with. They also do a remote hydrolic preload gizmo that can be retro fitted. They are rebuilable which is nice. Check out the cafe builders they are using hagon shocks ...

Re: How tall is too tall for a Paso?

907 might suit you better, they ride a bit higher with bigger wheels and longer forks. The riding position will be the same though and the are a bit cramped. You can fit lowered footrests or have a thicker seat made if necessary. I'm 31" inside leg and have no probs with standard setup.

Re: Clutch plate problems

I had a 750 Paso, dry clutch that had a thick one sided plate. Plain one side and friction the other. IIRC it was 1st plate in, friction side out.

I measured 790mm on page 2. If you raise radiator as I did you can drop them lower for quicker steering.

Re: Clutch - Looking to replace - Advice please.

Ive been using newfren friction plates, they're lasting well. The plain plates shoudn't need replacing. Theyre cheap in Italy.... http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/m.html?_ssn=faby-76&item=271866645960&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_from=R40&_sacat=0&_nkw=ducati+dischi+frizione&_sop=15

Re: Abba stand, will it work on a Paso?

I fabricate abba adapters from old sockets. Spark pplug sockets are a good start. Lead solder spigots into them and file down OD in pillar drill to fit stand adaptor.

Update on ride out. Norwich is a pain to get to even by bike according to locals so we are probably heading for Hull.

Plenty of room around 16 sprocket. 108 chain only just long enough though.

Longer gears. I seem to be changing gear less in town.
