Re: Ohlins rear shock absorber

I put a Paso750 ohlins on my 907 10 years and had contact with tyre on mudguard under ecu with passenger. I had shock rebuilt by Harris ohlins specialist with heavier spring and still had problems.

Throttle position sensor(tps) could need setting up. Done mine by ear before now and it was spot on when checked digitally.

Re: ** Paso and 750 Sport Owners UK 3rd Gathering Sept' 2015

My 907 is back on the road hopefully oil tight. There is also a friend of mine getting his 907 ready for this. We will be riding from Essex getting there before the main ride in. I suggest we park at the far end (east)of Maderia Drive lhs under the prom overhang where theres more space, that way wit...

Re: Clutch Issue

Try bleeding from master cylinder at the banjo bolt/hose connection. I replaced my banjo bolts for nipple style.

Re: Clutch Rod bearing in gearbox shaft

It was very tight in there and quite deep in the shaft. I didnt take the clutch hub off, that might've made it slightly easier. I think I got it moving with a long hardened countersunk screw, getting the sharp edge into the shoulder and bearing joint and tapping it backwards using mole grips and ham...

Clutch Rod bearing in gearbox shaft

Mine dropped a few rollers when I took the rod out looking for an oil leak. A right little bastad its been, 8mm id, about 12 od 15mm long burried inside the clutch centre shaft in almost a blind hole. Oil seal pulled out ok. The cage and outer lip came out leaving a hardened steel sleeve with the en...

Re: newbie with a just bought modified 89 900ss in need of T

Ive had 53mm bored SSie yoke on my 907 for last couple of years. no problem. ie yoke is slighter chunkier than your early version. Im totally confident its safe but I polished the anodising off so I can keep eye on it.

Careful with those yokes then, they have been bored out to take the fatter legs, probably not much meat left. Don't overtighten the pinch bolts and they should be fine.
Bike looks fantastic, I think the 2:1 would improve torque, what carbs are they?

Re: another incarnation

Thats looking really pretty mate and the seat looks comfy. The tank looks like a reworked SSie with the bollock pad recess and centre crease filled in. Like the front and rear lights, very subtle. The front end looks a bit high, have you tried dropping the yokes down the legs a bit. Are you going to...

Re: Restauration Paso, state and cost evaluation

Hello and welcome
You will probably spend a lot more on it than it's worth. It looks a huge job.
Good luck if you take it on. Lots of knowledgable guys on here will help with advice and maybe parts.

Keith.
