What an eyesore; I simply do not understand the motivation to "create" something like that.

The factory issued sport mufflers should say something like "for closed course use" on them or something to that effect. It is stamped into the mufflers where the rest of the identifying onformation is.

I just received my new set of Shinko's from Chapparal; total cost was $187 as they are on sale and shipping was free on orders over $100 (is anything really free??). There's a set of race mufflers for sale in the For Sale section. They're in the UK but I think well worth it, including the refinishing needed. I'm thinking these won't come up for sale often....regardless of location.

Red wheels and red seat are correct. Does it have the "race" mufflers? These will have a much larger diameter opening on the exhaust-out end of the muffler, noticeably larger than a standard Paso muffler. Having two carbs is a good thing too. The common setup was Dellortos.
