Re: Selling: 916S - 851 - 907ie

Hi Rhino,

Thanks for the comprehensive reply. Was concerned that you were "hanging-up-the-helmet" and understand the situation with knees, etc. The P750 is now almost too sharp a knee bend (nothing to do with age of course), will see what happens with that one.
Cheers,

Fraser.

Re: Single Cylinder Paso

Phil,

The pickups were available from Stein-Dinse, they were about NZD$195.0, will check when we get home. They were in stock and arrived in 10 days, only sold as a pair.

Cheers,
Fraser.

Re: Single Cylinder Paso

Phil, There are 4 wires coming up from the bottom left hand crankcase cover, these are from the pickups. The wires run up to the 2 little "CDI" boxes under the seat. There are 2 wires for each, unplug them and swap them over to see if the problem also moves. If it does, then the pickups ar...

Re: 900/750 ss/monster inlet manifolds

Customhead,

I have the 900 SS inlet manifolds on my 750P and they fit fine with the Mikunis (also off a 900 SS).

Re: I miss my 907....

Sam,

Mate you're dreaming!! Keep your bits as a constant reminder of the replacement that you will get one day. You do not get off the hook that easily.
The Morini is a fine bike, I have a 500 Sport. But it is not a Paso, you still need one.

So, somehow you guys (Hamish) have cocked up your membership kit requests. Had received my kit several weeks ago and was received pretty promptly.

Re: New member from New Zealand

Hi Nick, Welcome to wonderland. What was the Sport like when you first got it; just interested to see what $1000 can get you? GuinnessDave, I had a TRX for a couple of years, swapped it about 4 months ago for a 1980 Moto Morini Sport 500. The TRX was pleasant, but it is no Ducati, was glad to pass i...

Re: taillight modification

Gerhard,

You have me worried!! Playing around with lighting options would indicate that the list of jobs to complete the Paso has become very short. So you are now just tackling those very last items. When is she likely to get unveiled?

Cheers,

Re: Another Kiwi

Hi Michael, For consumables and valve shims your local Ducati dealer should do (any in Napier? Motomart.co.nz are in Lower Hutt.) Phil Sutton in Christchurch desmocycle@paradise.net.nz has limited spares but is very helpful. Ducatispares.co.nz in Dunedin appear to have lots of spares but are really ...
